Tour Bog - Day 16

We had such a fantastic day today. It was quite an early breakfast and departure via coach to the Reef terminal.

A very choppy boat ride was survived by all before we arrived in the midst of the Moore Great Barrier Reef. There was a pontoon that the boat moored to that supplied all of the equipment that we needed to snorkel, along with an observation deck below to view the fish from as well. We had 4 hours to spend here exploring the waters and going on bottomless boat rides to see the lively world that lives below the surface. We were fortunate enough to see sea turtles and a giant Rasse fish along with many other tropical species, including the infamous 'Nemo' clown fish. It was such a memorable experience that was enjoyed by all.

We also enjoyed a delicious lunch on board and took many turns riding the flume into the water.

Everyone was tired out from a long day in the water. We had time for showers when we got back before heading to Brothers*** for an all you eat buffet which went down very well with the students.

It was time to pack up our rooms once again to depart for Sydney in the morning. All present and correct ready for our final stop of the tour.
